In support of a novel respiratory pathogen research program, a northern medical center required rapid performance verification of 30 Class II biosafety cabinets (BSCs) and the overall BSL-3 facility, together with audit recommendations. SYE deployed NSF/ANSI 49 accredited technicians and completed all verification and audit deliverables within four weeks.
A full performance report was required before the BSL-3 laboratory could go live. The 30 BSCs spanned five manufacturers with varying service ages; for several legacy units the OEM technical documentation was lost, so baseline parameters had to be re-established on site.
